recently i have had a lot of thoughts that i'd like to blog on but they're occuring at odd times and when i finally get in front of the computer i'm just not focused. one such thought occured sunday during a conversation rachell and i were having.
thinking about becoming, identity, and relation between people i wonder if we share snapshots of ourselves in order to find validation or agreement of sorts. agreement that what we just shared as our perception of who we are/could be lines up with what another person sees as well. in running accross these people we naturally gravitate toward and find unexplainable connection to them. Jesus had an outrageous way of pushing back people's snapshots to them in a way that both validated their snapshot and inspired them to move to whole other way of being. as apprentices then we should be learning to be so in tune with what people are sharing in the subtleties of their speach that we are able to do exactly the same. this "in-tuneness" can only come from the living spirit within and the humbleness of our hearts to be broken, healed, taught, and renewed.

i think that's why blogging has been so strongly embraced... you post what's on your brain. so when others read it, it's like they are reading your mind in an odd sort of way and feel good upon finding some validation that they are not alone in their wonderings, doubts, questions, feelings, etc.
