make your mark. be part of the revolution. don't settle for lukewarm. these were words of wisdom spoken first by pastor Colton with whom we met with this morning and then by pastor Bandu who just finished meeting with a few hours ago. its soul stirringly weird to hear these words - in reading "The Shape of things to come" they speak of being incarnational - being the living reality of love and light in dark places, which often requires sacrifice and an ordering of life to communicate effectively and establish relationship.
we all have the opportunity, the chance, to be a life stirring force working redemptively in people's lives. to breath hope into them, to not settle for mediocrity, but to rise into adventure that will cause us feel alive. this can take many forms, some more public than others - but its there.
Last week i watched a 60 minutes interview with Bob Dillon (a great interview) he talks of destiny. that it was his destiny to be where he is today - it was orchestrated by "the commander and chief.....of this world and the world unseen"
what is your destiny? what would you like it to be?
