Yesterday while I was at one my client's offices I was asked about what I'm up to SF and where it seems my life is going. When I said the trend seems to moving away from technology and more toward what I'm doing in SF there was the usual jolly laugh about me not doing anything with engineering, etc despite my degree.
"It's how it goes though" he said "You just keep trying different things and steering your life toward what makes sense to you. Life's a gift and it would be a shame to resign to something, I didn't find what I really wanted to do until I was 72."
