yesterday as i was driving to sacramento i began thinking about ridiculous gas prices and other expenses that relate to cars. i'm not sure what to make of cars - most of the time i don't like them much really - all they do is cost money - then you take a road trip.
will the rising price of gasoline eventually become such a financial burden for people that long commutes and suburban sprawl will become history? will the expense eventually drive us to live in more urban environs where walking, biking, or public transit are the main means of transport? or will the car industry finally release itself from the oil industry and produce alternate fuel vehicles?
interesting times.

interesting ponderings friend...i vote for getting away from the petroleum and heading straight for the energy efficient transporters. biking, walking,...all of that is grand, but i do enjoy a road trip from time to time...my hair pushed and pulled by the outside air...my hand out of car window...dancing to the radio. the open road...i don't want to lose that. we humans need to wise up...what ARE we thinking? seeya soon,
