today Steve and I drove up to Kirkwood for a little snowboard action - have you ever seen the wind blow the snow accross the road as if the snow itself is scurrying along? it's an amazing sight to see - the wind was fierce on the mountain today - gusts of 100mph at the peak, as is molded up the face and over the cornice thrusting snow skyward, it appears as if gysers of snow burst open at the top.
then as we finished lunch we decided a nap was in order and slept for about 2 hours - YES.
