It was 10 years ago today that Tupac was shot and killed in Las Vegas. KMEL had a tribute playing on my lengthy drive to work. It's always fascinating to hear about the Rap game, the players involved and the way it's an embelishment of reality for some people. A tragedy indeed along with all those killed whose names don't make the news but are often killed in the same vain.
It was a "gang" war played out publicly in music, interviews and speeches. A public proclamation of what occurs in neighborhoods on a daily basis.
