goodness

following Jesus and seeking the kingdom was the theme of our day. we explored the story and wrestled with the King and his Kingdom. Those who claim the King yet live very poorly in the kingdom and then there are those who do not claim the king yet live in his kingdom by their actions.

we moved into talking about spiritual formation and intently following after Jesus. THERE IS A NEW WAY POSSIBLE - A life of abundance but we need to align all of ourselves with God and that takes work and sacrfice. It may mean putting some things on hold in order to fully live in His kingdom. It ultimately challenges our understanding of God and His goodness - where is our trust? what do we fear in following Him?

last night was a great time of enjoying the music of Ryan Sharp who is currently on an open ended pilgrimage with his wife Holly. beautiful. the times are rich.
